This week's episode is about the common statement I hear a lot in the early years world, that its becoming to Pinterest worthy...and not realistic. In this video I challenge that statement and discuss the importance of beauty in early childhood development. We go deeper into this idea by defining "what beauty is" and how it is related to our roles as educators and children's development. I walk you through the connections between what beauty is and how we as educators are communicating that to the children in our programs.

In the video I challenge you to share and post the beautiful pictures of our environments and play in the facebook group, All Things Early Years! I want to hear your stories and discover the beauty in the early years world together! These photos I shared earlier this week and are an expression of the beauty of the communication between the participants in our learning environment. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about yours in the group!
